Brooklyn residents are angry the de Blasio administration hasn’t followed through on a park promised for the Williamsburg waterfront a decade ago.

City officials pledged to build Bushwick Inlet Park as part of a 2005 deal to rezone the north Brooklyn waterfront to allow high-rise condos. But so far, they’ve opened only a small slice of the 28-acre site.
