SUMMARY:Oyster Monitoring Fall 2025 Part 2
DESCRIPTION:Research oyster monitoring resumes at Bushwick Inlet. We’ll pull research cages from the water to document the growth of these creatures. \nPlease join Friends of Bushwick Inlet Park and our partners from the North Brooklyn Community Boathouse and the Billion Oyster Project for our next monitoring session of our oyster restoration project in Bushwick Inlet. Let’s see how they are growing and observe the marine life teeming around them. \n*The tide may prompt us to adjust the event start time. Watch for an email confirming. \nWe will be meeting at the East River waterfront in Bushwick Inlet Park. Enter at 86 Kent Ave. and walk all the way back to the water. Bring water\, a hat\, and sunscreen; wear old clothes and plan to get a little dirty! \nSpaces are limited and registration is required.
