We almost lost our oyster population, but they are now making a major comeback and helping to clean up our waterways. Despite its small size, it is home to a surprising number and diversity of birds, mammals, crustaceans, fish, and much more. Come garden with us! We are happy to announce that we are prepared to start up volunteer events on a scaled back basis with limited numbers of volunteers. Throughout the seasons we usually have many ways to get involved with BIP but with COVID-19 we have had to curtail our programing. We have been working with the Parks Dept to establish safe re-opening protocols and equipment. To keep us all safe during COVID-19, this gardening activity is limited to 15 volunteers…
