Each week one evening we will be weeding, mulching and watering (if necessary). We have tools and gloves (but bring yours if you have them). Bring water and be sure to wear your mask. City of Water Day Low Tide Nature Discovery
Celebrate City of Water Day with Friends of Bushwick Inlet Park! Marine biologists from the Coastal Classroom will lead the community in workshops to discover and explore marine life at low tide on the Bushwick Inlet Park jetty. Participants will be learning about the ecosystems and wildlife living along the shoreline of the East River, resiliency, and restoration of original habitat. Join Friends of Bushwick Inlet Park and Riverkeeper for a cleanup, planting, and tree service project at Bushwick Inlet Park on Saturday, October 17, 2020 for the 9th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep, a day of service for the Hudson River. Volunteers will meet at the gardens in Bushwick Inlet Park, where street parking will be available. Purple Up Our BIP Crocus Planting
Let's put the Bushwick Inlet Park gardens to bed and look forward to spring. Join FBIP volunteers to plant 100's of purple crocus bulbs generously donated by the Parks Dept!
