DESCRIPTION:Please join Friends of Bushwick Inlet Park and our partners from the North Brooklyn Boat Club\, Billion Oyster Project\, and New York Harbor School for the summer monitoring session of our oyster restoration project in Bushwick Inlet. Wear old clothes and plan to get a little dirty! \nAccess to the inlet and monitoring space is being generously provided by the Greenpoint Monitor Museum. Their property is adjacent to Bushwick Inlet Park’s Motiva section. \nSpace is limited so please register – so we count on you to attend if you do\, and let us know if your plans change and cannot make it. \nThanks to Citizens Committee of NYC for their generous support of this project.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free watercolor painting series along the river. Ashton Agbomenou will teach free adult watercolor classes demonstrating how to use line\, shape\, and color to render an image. Bring an image you would like to paint during the 2 hour session. Supplies will be provided and beginners are welcome. \nAbout the Artist: Ashton is a freelance painter and filmmaker with a BFA degree from Rhode Island School of Design. Born and raised in Harlem\, New York he studied classical painting at the High School of Art & Design and the Art Students League of New York. \nThe classes are for 18 years old and older. \nClasses on May 17\, June 28\, and July 12\, 2018.
