Alma Adentro is a New York City-based Puerto Rican musical ensemble that brings back the nostalgia of the Latin-American Boleros, Guarachas & Cha cha chás with a dash of Danza Puertorriqueña. Named after the Sylvia Rexach song “Alma Adentro” or “Inside of your soul” in English, this group of musicians seeks to touch our hearts through music with Yazmín Morales-Vicente (vocals), William Vázquez (guitar), Luis Rodríguez (Cuatro) and Elías De Jesús (percussion). To learn more about Alma Adentro, you can follow them on Instagram @almaadentro787.
A big thanks goes out to NYC Ferry for their support of this series. We thank New York City Parks & Recreation, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, and North Brooklyn Parks Alliance for their support as well.
