Bushwick Inlet is a small waterfront area along the East River just north of Bushwick Inlet Park. Despite its small size, it is home to a surprising number and diversity of birds, mammals, crustaceans, fish, and much more.

Through a 15-minute slide show we’ll explore some of its natural wonder, following the food chain of wildlife down to beautiful and mysterious plankton.

This is followed by a brief tutorial on using watercolors and oil pastels.

You’ll have two relaxing hours to create your own artwork design or follow a guided art project.

No experience necessary.

Materials include watercolor, 9″ x 12″paper, oil pastels, a transfer to trace.
