Our climate future is on the ballot and North Brooklyn’s waterfront communities are rallying for historic investments in clean air, environmental resilience and green jobs. Join North Brooklyn elected officials including Governor Hochul, community leaders and open space advocates as we get out the vote for the historic $4.2 billion Environmental Bond Act.
This is a once-in-generation opportunity to improve quality of life, modernize infrastructure, and safeguard clean drinking water. The largest environmental bond act in New York State history, the Clean Water, Clean Air, Green Jobs Bond Act authorizes $4.2 billion to fund critical projects focused on water quality and resilient infrastructure, open space conservation and recreation, restoration and flood risk reduction, and climate change mitigation.
