Let’s celebrate being outdoors with an afternoon of in-person onsite sketching at Bushwick Inlet Park!
We will discuss the basics of a travel art supply kit, framing & composition, simplifying, creating symbols, using color, and more. After a 15 minute lesson, we’ll move to different spots within the park and draw thumbnail sketches before settling on a longer and larger sketch.
The workshop will be led by art instructor and scientific illustrator Monica Schroeder.
