Bushwick Inlet Park Cleanup and Invasive Species Removal

Join Friends of Bushwick Inlet Park and Riverkeeper for a stewardship project at Bushwick Inlet Park from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm for the 15th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event.

Volunteers will meet at Bushwick Inlet Park, 86 Kent Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11249, specifically at N 9th Street, down by the water on the other side of the soccer field.

We recommend all Sweep volunteers to bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer.

This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision.

  • Volunteers are required to pre-register for Sweep.
  • Volunteers should not participate if they have ANY signs of illness.
