The Long Island City Community Boathouse, our future partners when we have our own boathouse in Bushwick Inlet Park, is holding its Spring fundraiser this Thursday March 11th, from 5 to 10pm. There will be a raffle, a silent auction, lots to eat and drink and a live surf band, all happening at The Foundry, half a block south of the Queensboro Bridge. Money raised goes to help increase the numbers of participants who will be able to enjoy the pleasures of paddling our local waters. For more information go to www.licboathouse.org.
